Snow Cover

Snowy garment cloaks the Earth

Choking vegetation

Storm by storm the depth has grown

Strong accumulation

But the sun has come

Spring life has sprung

And here and there just listen

A drip a drop

A squishy spot

Reverbs evaporation

Soon enough

One sees brown

Dullest declaration

Deaths days near end

And though not green

The world starts preparation

For sunshine warmth

Has worked its cure

Dormant shoots now glisten

In thaw of spring

Just drops are left

As though jeweled decoration
