The Culture Code
Implementing wisdom from Daniel Coyle's book to make our environments feel like home
Daniel Coyle, in The Culture Code, insists vulnerability must start with a leader, and often.
Adults should pursue vulnerability with kids, within healthy boundaries, particularly giving them chances to give the clear "performance feedback," learned from Gregg Popovich a few weeks back.

Many adults can get irritated when kids won’t open up to them,
but fail to make themselves vulnerable in conversation with children.
Here are three questions you can ask your kids in the coming week.
The first two are from Coyle’s book, and the third is my addition.
- What is one thing that I currently do that you’d like me to continue to do?
- What is one thing that I don’t currently do frequently enough that you think I should do more often?
- What is one behavior you’d really like me to stop and why?
Are you demonstrating healthy vulnerability in your environment?
